Slow Cooker 4-Ingredient Hobo Dinners

 


Ingredients

• 1½ pounds ground  beef

Slow Cookers

• 4 large potatoes, thinly sliced

• 1 (10.5 oz) can condensed cream of mushroom  soup

• 1 packet onion soup mix

Instructions

1. Spray the inside of your  slow cooker with nonstick  cooking spray.
2. Arrange half of the sliced potatoes in an even layer on the bottom.
3. In a large skillet over medium heat,  cook the ground beef until browned. Drain any excess grease.
4. Spread half of the cooked ground beef over the potatoes.
5. In a small bowl, stir together the cream of mushroom soup and onion soup mix until well combined.
6. Spread half of the soup mixture over the beef.
7. Repeat the layers with the remaining potatoes, beef, and soup mixture.
8. Cover and cook on **LOW** for 6–7 hours or **HIGH** for 3–4 hours, until the potatoes are fork-tender.
9. Serve hot directly from the slow cooker.

• Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the top during the last 30 minutes of cooking.
