Multiplication comes first:

= 6 - 36

= *-30*

People usually get 36 by doing `(6-6) × 6 = 0 × 6 = 0`

Or they do `6 × 6 = 36` and forget the minus sign.

So the correct answer is -30.

Their mother, Margaret, taught her that. Three little flowers on the sleeves, on the bag, even on her old scarf. Noah remembered the day she disappeared. The rain that was pounding against the windows. A mother who was crying in the kitchen. Father, Daniel, who was running thru the streets, calling out Lily's name until his voice broke. And grandfather, Harold, who was sitting quietly in the living room. — She probably wanted a different life — Harold said. Noah hated those words. Because Lily would never leave without saying goodbye. Years were passing. The missing person posters have faded. The police have stopped coming. The neighbors stopped asking. But Margaret never gave up. Lily's room remained untouched — her books on the table, a blue jacket behind the door, a mirror covered in dust. Every nite, Margaret whispered: — My daughter will come home. Then, fifteen years later, Harold died. The funeral was small. People called it "strict" and "old-fashioned." Noah was standing next to his mother and noticed something strange. Margaret has cried for fifteen years for Lily. But she did not cry for her father. After the funeral, Noah and Daniel went to Harold's old house to clear it out. The house smelled of dust, medicine, and closed windows. The heavy curtains blocked the light. Family photographs hung askew on the walls. At the end of the hallway was Harold's bedroom. Noah entered and felt the cold. Daniel was opening the drawers while Noah was taking off the bedding. Then he noticed that the mattress looked uneven. One corner was higher than the others. He lifted it. At first, he saw some old newspapers. Then something pink. Noah's heart stopped. He slowly pulled it out. It was a piece of old fabric. Faded. Dirty. It was almost falling apart. But in one corner, there were three small white flowers. Hand-stitched. Noah fell to his knees. — Dad… Daniel turned around. — What is it? Noah lifted the fabric with trembling hands. — I think this belonged to Lily. Daniel was staring at her. The color drained from his face. Then he whispered: — Don't touch anything else. Twenty minutes later, police cars were parked in front of the house. The case dominated the headlines for weeks in 2020, when the two vanished into thin air during a short and seemingly safe hike in the French Pyrenees. As time passed, with no leads or traces remaining, the official search was called off. The family, heartbroken and exhausted, clung to the idea that perhaps they had decided to start a new life far away. Others, more realistic, considered the possibility of a tragic fall in some inaccessible place. For years, nothing happened. Until, at the end of August, a Catalan couple decided to explore a rarely visited area near the Brèche de Roland. Among the deep crevices in the rock, they thought they glimpsed something that broke the gray uniformity of the place. He crouched down, shone his cell phone flashlight on the object, and saw a rectangular shape covered in dust and moisture. "It's... a backpack," he muttered, not daring to touch it. The woman approached. As she wiped away what looked like a label with her fingers, they both looked at each other in shock. "Julián Herrera." Their hearts were pounding. It couldn't be a coincidence. The backpack was wedged between two rocks, as if it had fallen from an overhead crevice. The couple took photos and sent them to the gendarmerie, who responded immediately. Within hours, a specialized rescue team arrived by helicopter, sealing off the area. Captain Morel, who had participated in the initial search five years earlier, opened the backpack while wearing gloves. Inside, he found a dented metal bottle, scraps of food in a bag, a crumpled map... and something that chilled him to the core: Clara's blue notebook, recognized by everyone during the investigation. The media pressure returned with a vengeance. The family was alerted, and journalists from both sides of the border crowded the access roads. But the mountain wasn't willing to reveal answers so easily. The crevice where the backpack had been found was only fifty centimeters wide, but it extended several meters deep and much higher. According to experts, it was possible that Julián had attempted to descend from a nearby point in search of a shortcut or shelter, and had become trapped. However, Captain Morel wasn't convinced. Something was strange: the backpack was barely damaged, with no signs of a long fall. Furthermore, there was a pen mark on the map that hadn't been there when the copies were examined five years earlier. "This doesn't add up," Morel whispered to one of the technicians. "If Julián wrote this after getting lost... we need to find out why." The reopened investigation turned into a puzzle.
