On Thursday morning, an active shooter incident unfolded at Corewell Health Beaumont Troy  Hospital, located just north of Detroit.

The terrifying situation began around 7:08 a.m., sending waves of panic throughout the  hospital campus. Initial reports indicated that shots had been fired in the hospital’s parking garage, prompting immediate emergency response and lockdown procedures.

As the details emerged, it was confirmed that the suspect was an employee of the hospital.
